Join us from Friday 12 - Sunday 14 June for a celebration of all things Regency in the grounds of 'Pemberley' (aka Mr Darcy's House), as immortalised on screen in the 2005 film adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.
Try Regency-inspired pastimes, such as embroidery or bonnet trimming, take part in a grand promenade around the garden, or live out your period-drama fantasies with a carriage ride through the park.
For lovers of literature, our 2026 exhibition, House of Stories: Tales From the Chatsworth Library, shares some of the rare books and manuscripts preserved in the collection, and pairs them with letters and sketches from the archive to share new stories about famous authors and the Devonshire family.
Works on show include two first editions of Pride and Prejudice; a rare, cheaply bound 'reading' edition, and the personal copy of Lady Caroline Lamb, on loan from the Jane Austen House Museum.
