£45 per person, including entry to the garden and a hot drink voucher
Join an expert from our landscape team for a truly rare experience to visit Chatsworth Old Park. Explore and learn more about the Old Park, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and an area of the park normally closed to visitors. After a short trip on our tractor-trailer from Chatsworth out to the Old Park, you will enjoy a guided walk through the historic parkland with an expert member of our landscape team, learning about its natural history and discovering one of the best collections of veteran oak trees in the country.
This two hour tour includes entry to Chatsworth Garden on the day, along with a voucher for a hot drink from Flora’s Café or the park picnic shop.
The tour will take place whatever the weather so please dress appropriately. We recommend sturdy boots or wellies and warm wet weather clothes. Please note that dogs are not permitted on the landscape tours. The route includes a mostly gradual descent with one section that is a little steeper mostly on grass but there is potential for mud in areas. Unsuitable for buggies or wheelchairs. If you would like to join this event and have questions about accessibility, please contact us at education@chatsworth.org so we can discuss your specific requirements.
Please meet at the bottom of Lodge hill just below the Park Shop.
