It's been 20 years since Chatsworth was immortalised on screen as Pemberley (aka Mr Darcy's House), in Joe Wright's adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfayden.

Be transported through music into the Regency period.

Enjoy a promenade up the Broadwalk in the garden (Regency-dress is optional but encouraged)

Regency themed house tours
12.30pm & 3pm
house ticket required, limited places, first come first served
Learn about Regency traditions of the house on this tour that include some of the filming locations used in the 2005 'Pride & Prejudice'.

Don bonnets, breeches and cravats for a photo opp in the garden, available all day.

Pop up Austen - Chatsworth Players
Local amateur dramatic group, The Chatsworth Players, will be staging pop-up performances of scenes from Austen novels in the house and garden throughout the day.

Regency Garden Games
There will also be a selection of garden games popular in the Regency period on the lawns.

Time Will Tell Theatre 
Enjoy a performance of 'Service & Servility', an original play inspired by the role of servants in Austen's literary world.
