The Warren tree planting project
Did you know that you can contribute to the establishment of a new native woodland on the Chatsworth Estate? A donation of £180 towards the cost of this new woodland will help create a legacy which will endure in the landscape for many centuries.
Donations can be made in memory of loved ones, who will be commemorated in a bound Memorial Book kept on display in Edensor Church. Donations can also be made to celebrate special occasions, such as anniversaries or birthdays and will be marked with a certificate.
Your contribution will be put towards the following costs:
- Planting of 10 saplings within the Warren
- ‘Maintenance’ of saplings to ensure their successful establishment and continued public
access within the Warren - Protection of young trees from browsing by animals
Trees are planted during our planting season in March each year, with donations being taken on a
rolling basis.
