Ready, steady, play!
Take the secret tunnel from the farmyard to our newly reopened woodland adventure playground.
Tackle ladders or the climbing wall to ascend our tall towers for a bird's-eye view from among the tree-tops.
Each tower is connected by rope bridges or a crawl tunnel with a raised platform at the centre. Communicate between the towers on the 'flower phone' before returning to ground level at speed with a choice of four slides; two racing slides, a spiral slide, or one that is over 12 metres long.
Climb inside our huge Great Spotted Woodpecker, mount the log tangle and shoot off down the zip wire. There are also climbing frames, swings, a giant sand play area, and an Archimedes screw to fetch water from the stream.
The playground has a coffee hut and a picnic area.
Accessibility and SEN
The playground and two towers are approached by accessible footpaths, please note that the playground is on a hill above the farmyard.
Within the towers are two activity boards including a spinning pairs game and an activity board that celebrates the importance of bees to our environment, this includes braille dominoes and other stimulus for visually impaired visitors.
Good to know
Access to the adventure playground is included with all house, garden or farmyard tickets.
The adventure playground has toilets, baby change and an accessible toilet.

Chatsworth is located in central England, in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire. It is north of Derby and south of Sheffield.
Visiting with your dog
Please be aware that dogs are not allowed in the farmyard or adventure playground, for their safety as well as the safety of our farmyard animals. There are posts where dogs can be left outside the farmyard.
