Chatsworth House Trust is dedicated to making a positive difference in people’s lives. One of the ways we achieve this is by creating inspiring experiences and opportunities for individuals to connect with heritage and landscapes, helping them thrive.
Our Celebrating the Cascade project offers the perfect opportunity to accomplish this through a new range of wellbeing activities, centred on the benefits of being near water and the beauty of the Chatsworth Garden and Parkland, all while encouraging a connection to nature and mindfulness for enhanced wellbeing.
In addition to restoring the Cascade itself, these wellbeing activities are a vital part of our ambition to positively impact our communities and welcome more people to experience what Chatsworth has to offer.
Building on the success of our pilot programme last year, throughout 2025 we are offering various wellbeing events and experiences for adults and families to engage with our landscapes and perhaps try something new.
You might enjoy experiencing Tai Chi on the banks of the River Derwent or flow yoga in the Chatsworth Garden. We have included a mindful walk in our programme of guided walks, promoting a deeper connection with nature during a riverside stroll, as well as Forest Bathing in Stand Wood – creating space to spend time in the forest and soak up its unique atmosphere.
Discover more about these experiences on our event pages.
